An exciting day as visiting pubs, I’ve never frequented before. Feels like an adventure now!!!
Walk down the river then through ICI chemical works. quite an eerie walk with industry on both sides of a well maintained footpath. I don’t imagine many people walk this way for a couple of pints on a Saturday afternoon.
the royal Oak - Weston

Pleasant welcome in this community pub with a well-deserved fosters lager. Nice to see a familiar face with a bartender formally of the ring o bells also drinking in the pub.
the roundhouse- Weston

Another friendly welcome in the roundhouse. Well populated bar for earlyish on a saturday, the good folk of Weston like there pubs as much as we do back in Frodsham.
the Prospect Inn- Weston

The third pub in Weston the Prospect, again is very well attended, one side is more of a restaurant so I sit in the bar with an excellent pint of Landlord. Three pints in luckily my wife Jane has turned up in the car to take me home.
