It’s friday night again and tonight is the big one. Walk in to Widnes
Usual route towards the old town in Runcorn then across the Bridge. It’s a big walk for a Friday evening. I walk across the bridge then down to the river and along towards Liverpool.
Mersey View - Widness

After a long 8 mile walk I enter the Mersey View, which unfortunetly doesn’t have a view of the Mersey but is located on Mersey View road. Busy little pub as it is Friday night and I take my cold pint of Carling outside. Doesn’t take long to finish as I have developed somewhat of a thirst.
The Snig- Widnes

I head back towards the bridge and directly under is the Snig. A great pub, which is shared equally by local OAP’s and young cool kids. They have some great band memorabilia on the ceiling and guitars around the place. I enjoy another cool lager before heading back over the Bridge.
Wine Bar - Runcorn

Back to the old town and I head into the Wine Bar. A great Bar if you like horse racing as multiple meets showing on screens. Pleasant 60’s music playing loudly I sit in the corner with my Fosters.
Alchemy- Runcorn

The last pub of the evening and not really a pub. Alchemy is a nightclub which stays open to 6am!!! As it’s 19:30 I’m the only person in, but I’m classing it as a pub as it has a bar and it now makes my total 42 pubs. So Close !!!!!
